Maria Sharapova comeback from a bagel first set against Jankovic to book her place in a mouth watering semi-final against Victoria Azarenka who defeated Russian 12th seed Maria Kirilenko 7-6(3) 6-2.
Sharapova who was thrashed 6-0 against an inspiring Jankovic in the first set showed all her battling spirit and fight her way back in win the match 0-6 6-4 6-3 and book her place in the French Open semi-final.
World number one Serena Williams and last year finalist Sara Errani will be fighting for the other place in the finals when they meet tomorrow.
