Carlo Ancelotti in numbers

Real Madrid didn't give up on signing Carlo Ancelotti from PSG this summer, as he was finally announced yesterday the new boss of los merengues over the next three years. Their insistence on the Italian came from some outstanding numbers already in his pocket and also from his tactical way of playing that fits Madrid well.

Ancelotti likes to use the 4-3-3 formation with his teams, he used it with AC Milan (Rui Costa, Shevchenko and Inzaghi) , with Chelsea (Anelka, Drogba and Kalou), with PSG (Lavezzi, Ibrahimovic and Pastore) and that is what he will do when he manages Real Madrid with Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema and Ozil (unless they succeed to sign Gareth Bale, Ozil will be back as a midfielder).
