Barcelona president Sandro Rosell knew that signing Neymar will cost him a fortune so he wanted to know before doing anything what Lionel Messi thought about signing the young Brazilian, and how might he react about having a competitor in the team.
Messi however, was excited about the deal and he encouraged the club to go for it, as he understands that Barcelona need another goal scorer, one that can bring new blood to the team and lift some weight from Messi's shoulders.
What was more interesting about the story, is that Barca sat down with Neymar as well and told him that Messi would still be the boss and the leader for the team, Neymar also reacted positively and told his new club that he got no problem with this and he will be honored to play alongside the best player in the world.
