Atletico Madrid General Manager Miguel Angel Gil Marin had announced that the club won't stand in Falcao's way if he decided to leave the club this summer due to an agreement between both parties.
In a press conference in Singapore, Marin told reporters: "Before the start of the season, we spoke with Falcao, we promised him that if he helps the club reaching Champions League next season, Atletico will help him in any decision he takes."
"We know what makes a good striker – we have sold and replaced Fernando Torres, Diego Forlan and Sergio Aguero. And now it is Falcao. I don't know exactly who will be here next season, but you can be sure that Atletico will have a strong team." he added.
Atletico's talisman had been linked with many big clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid and big spending french teams Monaco & PSG.
